SPARROW HILL 3 HOUR

Perfect weather was at hand for the last weekend of summer and the Sparrow Hill 3 hour. A sweet 8.4km course was set, with the right amount of ups and down, taking in the awesome "Bob Sled" in the last half of the loop.

A strong turnout, I'm guessing around 200 or so riders, soloists and teams of 2. The vibe was great, as the race was not part of the XC point score series, it was super chilled on the trails.

Super chilled, but enough pace to draw blood

A great afternoon out, and the perfect training session for the misery that awaits next weekend http://www.bv.com.au/great-rides/42359/

The future is now.

cafe' essen

Not really a huge amount of parking, but there are some racks relatively close by if your a chain 'em up kinda rider.

The breaky was cheap and cheerful, but know one can really remember much of it because it came with a french acsent and that smile and grungy essen style smoothed everything over.
