The Pyrenees
Col d' Aspin to Col du Tourmalet back over the Col d' Aspin 100km and 5.5 hrs
I stopped to help a Spaniard whose crank had fallen off. As i don't speak spanish and he didn't speak english it was left to hand gestures and dancing?
On the road up the Col d' Aspin
On the summit
On the way to the Tourmalet
The point of no return
I had 6km to go to the summit of col du Tourmalet with no food or water i was in a very dark place. The weather had turned and it was raining and cold with snow on the ground.
i didn't have a camera when i reached the summit of the col du Tourmalet but if i did it would look like this .... with less feathers and more rain
After descending the Tourmalt like a stone and with a tummy full of mars bars and coke i felt great ...... until i had to summit the Col d' Aspin to get home.

Crit Race Milton Keynes Style
Feeling a bit fat need to get on a bike.
lots of euro bikes and shaved legs
this should be fun.....
Bad idea to start from the back
The corner speed was nuts (not by me)
I can taste hamburger....
Sounds cool but I don't get it.
Fast Forward Pedal.
I read through this twice but I still don't get it. Sounds cool though.
